Custom & Import Tax

International Shipments and Customs Information

1. Who is Responsible for Paying Duties and Taxes?

For international orders, the recipient (consignee) of the package is responsible for any duties and import taxes that may be due upon delivery. These fees are not calculated or charged at the time of purchase from our store and must be paid directly to customs authorities upon receipt of the shipment.

2. How Much Do I Need to Pay for Import Duty?

The amount of customs duty varies by country and is determined by the tariff policies of the recipient country. It is important to note that our shipping options include USPS First Class for international shipments, and the customs duty will depend on your country’s specific regulations.

For packages shipped via USPS First Class, we generally declare an invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark the package as a gift. This practice is intended to help minimize the import duty charged by customs, although the final amount is still subject to your country’s tariff policy.

3. How Can We Help Reduce Your Import Tax?

If you have specific requirements for the declared value of the invoice, please contact us at [email protected]. We will adjust the declared value according to your instructions. If no specific instructions are provided, we typically declare the value between $20 USD and $150 USD, depending on the weight and size of the package.

4. What Will We Do If Your Package Encounters Customs Clearance Issues?

If your package encounters any customs clearance issues, we will cover the customs clearance fees and provide you with the shipping invoice, which you will need to present to customs. Additionally, we will assist you by contacting USPS to help resolve the situation.
